Ms. Salinas' Art Studio

Ms. Salinas, our Visual Arts teacher at Hedges, has been working diligently with our students on various art forms throughout the quarter. For example, students are working on Paper Mâché sculptures, Mix Media paintings, and Acrylic paintings on canvas to name a few. With the direction of Ms. Salinas, students are creating wonderful works of Art.

Kindergarten Music

Kindergarten students are composing simple melodies with colors associated to musical notes. They use color blocks to compose a variety o melodies that their peers can understand and play back.

Music Technology

Hedges middle school students are working in groups on digital music sound tracks using GarageBand on our new Macbook Pros. They are learning a hybrid of music technology skills as they compose their own masterpiece.

Hedges Ballroom Dancers are practicing the Merengue dance for the Back of the Yards competition on May 2, 2013 at Lindblom High School at 3pm. All are invited to come and cheer our students. Go Hedges!
